Greetings!

Now in its fourth successful year, Whitstable Harbour Village will re-open after the winter break, on Saturday 6 March, at 10am. The village has three new traders huts for 2010 and will be open every week-end and bank holiday until Christmas, plus some week days in the high season.

There will be some exciting new traders exhibiting, so please pop down and see what's new at the village. New original

We will also have a new range of fashion jewellery and accessories from Joli and from BB Fashion Jewellery, so pop down and say hello.
Whitstable Harbour News and Rumours

The harbour will be pedestrian only within the next few weeks according to council officials, in an attempt to make the area safer for visitors. The so called "Dead Mans Corner" project is back on track and will (eventually) bring a new seating and a public performance area to the east end of South Quay, near the harbour offices. Oysters

It also seems the harbour might get some much needed modern toilets after the Harbour Board approved a daring proposal for a new block to be built near the lifeboat station. Don't hold your breath (or cross your legs) but it does seem that (at last) things are gradually moving forward in improving the facilities for visitors to Whitstable Harbour.
Whitstable Harbour Village is operated by Kentish Trader Limited with the kind permission of Whitstable Harbour Board and Canterbury City Council. It seeks to offer a commercial opportunity to local artists, crafts-people and independent traders and provide a vibrant and local alternative to Tesco-Land.
