NADCA

Dear HVAC Cleaning Professional,

The National Air Duct Cleaners Association (NADCA) is conducting a survey of industry professionals to confirm the tasks performed by HVAC cleaning specialists, including tasks associated with remediation of microbial contamination. This survey will also address the knowledge required to perform this line of work.

Through this process, known as a job analysis, NADCA is updating and expanding the scope of the Air Systems Cleaning Specialist (ASCS) certification, which will also cover the content domains currently associated with the Ventilation Systems Mold Remediator (VSMR) certification.

It is vitally important to create an examination which reflects actual practices, which is why we are asking for your participation in this process. We ask that you set aside 15 to 20 minutes of your time to complete the on-line survey. Responses will be received by Schroeder Measurement Technologies (SMT) for analysis, and are completely confidential.

By participating in the survey, you will contribute to the growth and development of the HVAC inspection, maintenance, and restoration profession. On behalf of NADCA, thank you for your support in this important process.

Sincerely,

Robert "Buck" Sheppard
