Greetings!

Rain on the corn

Zikomo Ndithu! means thank you very much in Chichewa, the local language of Malawi. We are indeed thankful for YOU!

It is rainy season in Malawi and the corn is growing tall. It seemed like we could almost watch it grow while we were there in January. It is our goal to grow most of our own corn and vegetables this year at the Grace Center! I thought it would be good to spend a few minutes talking about hot sunshine and warm rain as we are bringing the winter to a close here in the US. I know you are as thankful for the last few sunny days as I have been!

You should have received a tax receipt by this time if you are a supporter of Circle of Hope, let us know if there are any problems.  We'd be happy to help you.  Email Laura@cohcommunity.org.

Blanket Parties!
A very happy smile shows how happy Shyreen is with her blanket.

Have you attended a blanket party yet? In the past two months, more than 100 blankets have been made and many new sponsors recruited. That is good news!

In January, we took 85 blankets to Malawi.
50 blankets were handed out to the Chipoka kids and 35 were given to preschoolers at the Grace Center.

We would like to take 300 more blankets with us in June. Visit our website to learn more about hosting a blanket party. If you would like to host a party let us know. Email rachel@cohcommunity.org.

I hope you enjoy this video of the preschoolers singing their thanks for the blankets.  The words of the song say, "Thank you, God.  I know how you love me, you have done so much for me. Thank you, Jesus, thank you!

Our hearts echo the children in thanksgiving for all that God has done through you to make the ministries of Circle of Hope International and the Grace Alliance Church possible.

Please note that we have merged the California corporation with our Kentucky corporation.  Everything stays the same except our address.  Please send any written correspondence or payments by mail to:  Circle of Hope International, 615 Bohicket Road, Wilmore KY 40390.
