Natural Food & Body tips Pilates level one classes and assessments
On your request for more knowledge of pilates and general exercise we are now offering a range of Level Pilates courses and assessment screening to ensure that you are given the support of skill and knowledge required when you start exercise with us.
Small courses of up to 10 people in the class allows us to really focus on your skills to ensure that you are getting the most out of your exercise time and ensure that you have the right knowlege to take into the general classes.
Our pilates courses - are 6 weeks for level one - next one starting Wed 7pm 21st May and is almost full and another day time class to start thursdays 1pm May 22nd there is lots of room so please register your interest.
We also offer 1 on 1 or 1 on 2 pilates and assessments so please enquire and we can let you know what to do first and get you started.
Alternativly, if you have a group of 4 or more friends that would like a time that suits you. Please call us on 3367 1950 and I can arrange it to suit.

Stay well this winter with the Aroma clinic?

- Drink plenty of filtered water - add some lemon or lime to help absorption
- Add some exercise -Some things I do walking, yoga pilates, simple stretching or vigourous actitivity. Anything that gets the heart pumping. Check the Sowelu timetable
- Eat your greens!! -Sounds like the kind of thing our mothers used to tell us when were small but
there is so much truth in that simple statement.
- Rely on Mother Nature to fight free radicals -Aromatherapy the evidence of those miracles in plants, flowers and berries that
produce these amazing oils that we don't even fully understand yet. We have such
a great resource in Mother Nature of healing medicines - doesn't it seem like it
was some kind of divine plan that we discover them and understand them??? I
believe so and I see the proof of that with my clients everyday.
- Look after your planet so it looks after you -If our planet isn't healthy how can we be???? Being 'green' means being
conscious of what is in our water, our air and anything that may be polluting
our environment. We can no longer afford to say "Who am I? I am only one person
what can I do?" Everyday I think of the water or power I am using, I am
conscious of the waste I create and what I do with it, I use Vitale chemical free personal care and cleaning products, I try to cut down my use of my car where
possible and advocate green sources of power.
- Meditate (every) day -look.. we all have days when we feel a bit off and we say " I can't do that ...I
don't have time to look after myself "or "I don't feel like sitting still and
contemplating I need to stay busy to escape my stress" and that's OK - none of
us are perfect , none of us live perfect ordered lives; at the centre of all
things there is chaos as well as peace, that is the wonderful contradiction of
this life - in a way it means we CAN have it all!!!!! Check out the CD's to help at Sowelu
- Sing your heart out - What does this have to do with health ?? I hear you cry....well plenty actually.
You see singing causes us to expand our chest area and deepen our breathing as
well as opening up the nose and throat areas.
- Get aromatherapy or a massage weekly -Of Course this is
easier said than done for me !!! but maybe YOU don't realise how easy it could
be for you. Firstly there are many health funds that recognise massage and
aromatherapy and you can receive a rebate for a treatment. Massage is important
for stimulating
circulation, lymphatic flow, immune health, reducing pain and inflammation,
reducing stress and relaxing muscles combined with
aromatherapy it is a powerful combo and one which I can't do without.
- Read or write to expand your mind -Reading is one of my favourite things to do - not only is it envronmentally
friendly because you are not creating any emissions to do it - you can also
recycle your books by passing them on or acutually recycling them!!!

When I wake up in the morning I have puffy eyes and
often get dark circles, any tips?
Cold tea bags and more
sleep. Don't have lots of carbohydrates late at night or after 6.30pm as this can
increase fluid retention including under the eyes. Topical Vitamin K can help
reduce dark circles as it helps move the pooled blood which creates the
darkness. Use light serums or gels rather than heavy eye
