in 2000, many transsexual women were still living in stealth; hordes of cross-dressers were still in the closet, and those that were out had mostly confined there occasional Girl's Night Out(s) to cross-dressing parties. My how times change! Equal-rights have progressed, professionals are reaching new heights, performers are crossing over, wow! Yet we can't forget those that came before and started the road we're now traveling. Let's take a silent moment to remember and appreciate them.
