- Trace the origin of the word Olympic back and you will discover that it relates to 'lofty' as in Mount Olympus. Lofty leads us to the notion of superlative achievement and the modern notion of the games which occur next in London, England.
- Lofty and superlative characterize the Cobra as well. The London cobra show happens this year in Ohio (21-24 June). Just a few sniffs of high test will take you up I-71 and you will have, figuratively, climbed to the lofty heights of superlative cobra event. People journey from overseas and from distant states seeking to be a part of this happening. For us it is just up the road.
- One member in 2009 departed Louisville at speed for London. He ran out of fuel near Sparta (hey, that's Greek) and legend has it that he coasted to the outskirts of London. Go to London. See if it's true. Talk to the legend himself. They say his head is shaved bald.
- Don't arrive in July and say "I wish I had gone to the London Cobra Show."
