Subject: Cobra Club Event 2/11 confirmation
All - here's the link for event If everyone can pre-register it will save a ton of time in the lobby when they get here.
In the third field Racer Name please use one of the three club names (OCC / KCC / OVCC/ followed by your first name a 1st letter of your last name.
In the last field use the event code "Cobra" - that will put everyone together in the same event.
If you want to have people use their club initials, then their chosen racer name in the Racer name field, that will allow us to do scoring and ranking by club.
Here's a few details everyone will need to know:
* Everyone will need to wear close-toed shoes to race.
* Loose fitting clothing or any loose items will need to be secured.
* People are welcome to use their own helmet, as long as it is close-faced.
* We have helmets and neck collars available - and are included in the cost of the rental.
* The track may be cool - we target keeping it 55 degrees or warmer. Racers will get a workout and heat up as they drive - so plan dress accordingly. (shouldn't be a problem for Cobra fanatics...the cars are meant to be driven at speed with no top... )
* Our track has tremendous grip and karts are faster than what most people may have driven before. Racers should use the same judgment they would for a roller coaster at Kings Island to participate.
* When your track time starts - you will get the most out of it if people are ready trackside.

Josh, our Track Manager is opening on Saturday - you will be in good hands with him - and he can assist with anything you need.
