London Cobra Show 2009
June 25, 26, 27 & 28
London, Ohio

Ready for some action?
The London Cobra Show ranks as a one of, if not the, premier cobra events in the country.  Make that the planet.  Stick your zip code into Google and find out where London, Ohio is.  Now calculate the mileage and the travel time.  Close huh! And no ships to fiddle with or oceans to cross.  The only water in the way is the Ohio river and Cincinnati has quite a proper bridge.

The Kentucky Cobra Club is organizing a group of cars that are going to London on the 25th.  It will originate in Louisville, collect the Lexington folks, gather in some Northern Kentucky souls and wend its way northward through Cincinnati and finally to the Hampton Inn.  They say that the journey should be savored.  That is so.  But save a few of your taste buds for the camaraderie and shenanigans once we arrive.  We will partner up with friends from Alabama, Illinois, Ohio, Indiana, California, Maryland, Delaware, Michigan, Wisconsin, Virginia, New York, West Virginia, Tennessee and North Carolina under the shade trees in front of the Inn.  Bring your bag chair, a smile, a friend, a beverage and your firmest handshake. You will need them all.

How will you find us you say?  Just looks for the Kentucky Cobra Club banner and canopy.   KCC  has developed a spiffy new banner and it will be flying proudly.

Thursday is meet and greet and of course eat.   Here is a link to the official schedule

London Cobra Show

We will partake of most of the events, but you are free to pick and choose as you like.  The show and charity rides in London (the hotel is down the road a short piece in Columbus, Ohio) are the signature events of the LCS.  Throughout the weekend it is relaxed and friendly.  Why if you close your eyes you could almost imagine that you were in Kentucky.  It is that nice! Dorothy, of The Wizard of Oz fame, might look down and exclaim that this is certainly not Kansas.  How true, Kansas is nice, but there is  really only one LCS and it is right up the road in London, Ohio.  How convenient!

Do you want to look back in your diary and see that you mowed grass this weekend.  No I didn't think so.  OK, you can leave early Sunday and still get the grass mowed.  Such a deal.
