Greetings!
This week we are gifted with a beautiful story . . . it is a fairy tale of light, connection and openness.
I recently did remote energy work with a lady in France who then sent me an email detailing the experience she had while we were intentionally connected. At first she thought to make a child's book around her journey (still a marvelous idea). I suggested that we make a movie, also.
We did a smattering of editing, I recorded the story and created this week's video. The emphasis I find in this tale is on the "connecting, opening and settling". That is something to do everyday, in every way with every person, place and thing in your life!

Delving Into Beliefs
I invite you to send me any belief you would like to look at to post in this section of the Sacred Spaces newsletter. I will post the question, "delve into it" and provide the answer here. I will not use your name or any reference to who you are in the postings.
This week's question:
"The old belief says, 'I do not belong - those people are in the "in club" and I'm out here. My desire is to be 'in there'. The truth is that I Am Them. Having let go of soooo much, having turned a HUGE corner, I now feel the veil has been lifted. Mostly I feel a part of the tribe, but I need help letting go of the last piece (the old habit of fear that's not even relevant anymore but just lingers for some attention) so that I can easily gravitate to my place, i.e. in the zone with myself as singer/songwriter/percussionist!"
Delving into the belief:
First, let's acknowledge that you know the belief is old. That is a starting point because then you know it no longer belongs in your vibration.
Now let's look closer:
1. There IS no "in club" really. You have created the idea that a certain group or types of people "belong" to a group that you are not part of and with which you want to connect.
2. Reality: Each person supposedly "in" the club (that doesn't exist) is simply a person who is attempting to fit in also; has similar desires and wants as yours; has many self-doubts (that are usually over-compensated for by their actions) and fears that may mirror yours to a degree; is God.
3. You, as God, have a choice in free will to change your view of each of these people. Maybe you WOULD like to part of their lives . . . AND MAYBE NOT ~ once you really get to know them.
4. Once you open to connecting to each (or any) of the people involved in the "club that doesn't exist", you can make a determination whether you are really like-minded or not.
5. The outer covering is always the mask. What lies beneath determines whether or not you really wish to be a part of this pack . . . or would you prefer to be a leader?
6. If you choose not to lead right now, eventually you will, because that is your Mastery.

A personal reflection:
How long has it been since you actually laughed at life? I don't mean a sardonic derision or an off-hand comment. I mean a real belly laugh at how serious everyone (that includes you) takes this VERY short span of "time" that you are using your body.
When things (and I mean ANY thing) begins to look "bigger than a breadbox" as my mother used to say, if you step back and look at how much emphasis has been placed on it in relation to infinity, you will see the humor in it. If you don't, you have set yourself up to see where your belief stems from that it is "all important". If you're still believing that you're one of the "guilt-ridden" multitude, you can look at it this way - it's good for your karma!
The best part of laughing at life (and yourself) is that other people will join you instantly. At that moment, you will feel the release of the energy in the situation as you let the waves of relief wash over you.
Next time you feel "tied up in knots", step back, take a breath, break a smile (all the way up to your eyes) and laugh. It feels SO good!
