Now is the time to begin thinking about who you want to gift with a spiritual service from Sacred Spaces during the upcoming holidays.
I am frequently approached by loving friends and family members who want to give a reading or a spiritual course to a friend or loved one as a gift.
It is important the person you are honoring wishes to receive your very generous gift and has voiced it to me, as well.
Giving yourself time to explain the gift you wish to give (or perhaps receive) makes the process exciting and rewarding for all.

Sometimes it feels as if you must hold tight to that which you don't wish to lose. Often the thought of relinquishing your grasp of a person, place or thing is almost too much to bear.
How fortunate to realize that in letting go, the synthesis becomes even more palpable. Releasing, freeing, surrendering control ~ all of these attributes manifest an even more intimate relating - ship with all in your life.
It is at those times when you most want to hold tighter, grasp more firmly, that you are invited to simply embrace with ease and grace. The more constricted your grip, the more the item supposedly in your possession will attempt to wiggle free.

Let the glow of the full moon shine its light on your soul. As you open your hand to hold your personal aspect of sand from the beach of your life, you will begin to feel the relief of release as you liberate yourself from the need to control anyone or anything.

Last Saturday, my dear friend, Sandy Fox of Seattle Center for Peace sent me an 11 minute interview with Barbara Marx Hubbard and Dr. Bruce Lipton, author of Biology of Belief.In this interview Bruce and Barbara look at energy, quantum physics (the unifying science) and what Bruce calls the Divine Field. Bruce explains how the field governs the particle as Albert Einstein taught and how the energy comprising the human being feeds energy back to the field. I was so pleased to receive Sandy's email. Bruce and I have known each other since he had just made the decision to begin bringing his knowledge to the world. A chiropractor in Sparks NV had video taped Bruce giving his first lecture on the biology of belief. After seeing the film, I called Bruce and told him he must take his work to the public. "No," he said, "I want to keep researching and enjoying what I am learning." This was years ago and I am so glad he changed his mind! My view of the soul's realm and understanding of mankind's emergence within the emanation of the Divine Field is the heart of the Soul Readings I record for those wishing to learn more about their original intention in earth. Delving Into Beliefs
I am dedicating this space in each newsletter to delving into belief systems. It is these ideas that are the framework of everything that happens in your life.
I invite you to send me any belief you would like to look at to post in this section of the Sacred Spaces newsletter. I will post the question, "delve into it" and provide the answer here. I will not use your name or any reference to who you are in the postings.
This week's question: "I have a longing, a desire, to sing back up with the pros. I am a really good singer and especially gifted at blending and harmonizing. All my life I have wanted to do this. Now the veil has lifted - I am so close I can taste it. These musicians are my tribe. How can I allow this dream to fulfill itself? Me being Me --- I am so THERE!! It's natural."
Delving into this belief: You have the tiger by the tail already because you can feel it, taste it - as you said, you are THERE! To change your belief (in your mind) from one of "how can I allow this dream to fulfill itself?" to "this dream IS fulfilling itself": 1) affirm for yourself every time you begin to think about singing as backup to the pros the words "this dream IS fulfilling itself"; 2) seek out local talent to sing with so your mind, heart and body feel the experience of actually doing that which is natural for you; 3) begin looking for those singers you want to sing back up with and find out how to most easily connect with them.
Inasmuch as you asked the question, there is a belief that you will not be able to fulfill your dream. Since you are the creator of the dream, you are also the fulfillment of it. Every aspect of your life can be shaped and formed to mirror your life as a backup singer to the pros ~ because, after all, that is what you ARE.

A personal reflection:
I had a very interesting experience while we were sanding the kitchen floor this afternoon (taking the floor back to the natural wood).
I kept feeling like something was happening that I didn't know about, something that would get my attention and might feel unexpected. As my hand freely moved in ever-growing circles with the electric sander, I let the earlier part of the day play through my mind.
Was it because of a telephone call? How about appointments I had made for next week? Was it something in the news? All of my questions met with a response of "that's not it". I finally decided to stop paying attention to the feeling and allow the event to unfold when, and if, it eventually did.
Hours later we called a stop to the day's labors; I checked my email. One of my emails was notice from You Tube that someone had subscribed to my videos. This is not new; I receive about 10 of those emails a day.
As is my custom, I clicked on the link to thank the person for subscribing only to find that their You Tube channel featured a video called "Light Orbs on Ascension". "I have a video with the same name," I immediately thought. I clicked on the play button and heard my voice coming through the computer speakers yet the pictures in the video were not mine. This person had taken my audio (and I later realized also my description in the explanation block) and put his own "light orbs surrounding a variety of young men plus advertisements for rock and roll music" pictures to my voice. Yes, it was unexpected and it did get my attention.
There is no greater way to honor someone than to imitate them. I stand duly flattered!
