Executive Director Alleghany Foundation Covington, VA The Alleghany Foundation has announced the appointment of the Foundation's first full-time Executive Director, Mary Fant Donnan. Mary brings to her new role a mix of experience in philanthropy, the nonprofit sector, state government and education.
Since 2001, she has been a program officer with the highly regarded Z. Smith Reynolds Foundation in Winston-Salem, North Carolina, where she had primary responsibility for the foundation's Community Economic Development focus area. Read more...

EARTH University has appointed Ingrid Blanton as the new Vice President of Development. Most recently, Ingrid served as Associate Vice President of Gift Planning at Emory University. Previously, she held fundraising and leadership positions at Colonial Williamsburg Foundation and the Williamsburg Land Conservancy.
An attorney by training, Blanton practiced law for several years before moving to the nonprofit sector.

Partnership Against Domestic Violence
Atlanta, GA
Partnership Against Domestic Violence (PADV) has recruited Meagan Fulmer as its Vice President of Development. Most recently, Meagan was Area Director for the Eastern Region of March of Dimes, where she was responsible for $25 million in revenue and a staff of 20.
Previously, she worked in development for the American Heart Association in Atlanta, where she helped achieve annual revenue growth of over 20%.
Andrew Friedman President & CEO Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic Princeton, NJ Recording for the Blind & Dyslexic (RFB&D) is pleased to announce the appointment of Andrew Friedman as the new President & CEO.
RFB&D's interim CEO since mid-2010, Andrew joined the national nonprofit as CFO in January 2009 and subsequently was promoted to COO. Following a national search, the board confirmed his permanent appointment as CEO.

At its Fifth Annual Client Advisor Awards showcase in December, Creative Growth Group of Atlanta announced that BoardWalk Consulting and the Atlanta Center for Self-Sufficiency had won its 2010 Client Advisor Award in the Community Involvement Category.
ACSS was created by the merger of two innovative organizations with similar missions - Samaritan House of Atlanta and Atlanta Enterprise Center; BoardWalk advised on the selection of a new CEO for the merged entities and assisted in the planning of the transition to a unified entity.

BoardWalk's Margaret Reiser has been elected to the board of Grantmakers in the Arts, "the only national association of private and public funders making grants to artists and arts organizations in America."
Kathy Bremer was recently appointed to the board of the Women's Forum of Georgia. The Forum is an affiliate of the International Women's Forum that advances women's leadership across careers, cultures and continents.

Sam Pettway has been elected to the global board of the Association of Executive Search Consultants, the professional association representing retained executive search firms around the world. Previously, Sam was a member of the America's Council, AESC's regional advisory board.
