Send a trustee to Harvard on us: BoardWalk's 7th Annual Governance Fellowships November 3-6, 2010 (fast turnaround required)
For the seventh consecutive year, BoardWalk is pleased to underwrite participation by up to six board members in Harvard Business School's exceptional short course, Governing for Nonprofit Excellence: Critical Issue for Board Leadership.
To date, we have sponsored 34 board members for this course, and every participant has raved about the experience. If you or one of your board members would like to be considered, click here for details. Note: We need to hear from you quickly, as Harvard is holding the course a month sooner than normal: November 3-6 at the HBS campus in Boston.
BoardWalk will fund half the $3900 tuition, and you or your nonprofit will fund the other half. Our eligibility requirements are quite simple, and we'll make decisions at our end very quickly.

Happy Birthday, BoardWalk!
Eight years ago this week, on October 1, 2002, we launched BoardWalk Consulting to serve the executive search and board governance needs of nonprofits, foundations and other such mission-centered initiatives.
Since then, we've been privileged to serve over 125 clients in 18 states, from local start-ups to billion-dollar behemoths with global reach. Our clients' missions are varied, from poverty to public safety to international relief to community enrichment and more. Along the way, we've served scores of search committee and introduced them to wonderful leaders from 34 states and more than a few countries. All our clients agree that compelling missions are best served by strong leaders working in strategic unity with strong boards. Accordingly, we've remained true to our initial mission: building strong foundations for nonprofits.® We've learned a great deal over the past eight years--about ourselves, about our communities, and about the extraordinary outlets for passion that our friends and neighbors pursue. Thank you for being part of our wonderful journey on the BoardWalk! |
