Announcing the 2009 BoardWalk Governance Fellows at Harvard
This year's BoardWalk Governance Fellows:
Marcia Bullard, President and Chief Executive Officer, USA WEEKEND, McLean, VA, a national weekly newspaper magazine distributed in more than 700 newspapers nationwide. Marcia will be attending Harvard in her role as chair of America's Charities; she also serves on the boards of Points of Light Institute and the Heart of America Foundation. She was honored with a President's Volunteer Service Award by the White House in 2005.
Donald T. (Don) Heroman, retired Chief Financial Officer of Equifax, is Chair of the board of the Atlanta Community Food Bank, one of the largest and most innovative food banks in the country. Don is also on the board of a private foundation, established to support the higher education of students in financial need, and several corporate boards.
Nancy E. Muth, Minister, The First Presbyterian Church in Germantown, PA (northwest of Philadelphia), is chair of the board of Presbyterian Investment and Loan Program, a nonprofit corporation of the Presbyterian Church (U.S.A.), based in Louisville, KY. Nancy is also chair of the Center for Urban Ministry at Wake Forest Divinity School and vice chair of the Financial Management Team (trustees) of the Presbytery of Philadelphia, among other involvements.
Timothy (Tim) A. O'Connell, Vice President, Internal Audit, Cousins Properties, one of the country's top diversified real estate
development companies. Based in Atlanta, Tim wil be attending Harvard as chair of the audit committee of Goodwill Industries of North Georgia. His other civic involvements have included Atlanta Habitat for Humanity and the United Way of Metropolitan Atlanta.
Elizabeth (Beth) W. Reese, Vice President, Finance, AGL Resources, Atlanta, where she is responsible for financial planning and analytics for the corporation and its subsidiaries. Beth chairs the governance committee of CHRIS Kids, a community-based multi-service mental health treatment organization for children and families. Other boards include Imagine It! - The Children's Museum of Atlanta.

NFTE helps young people from low income backgrounds find opportunity and life success through entrepreneurship education programs. Since 1987, NFTE courses in entrepreneurship and business have elevated the skills, educational achievement, aspirations and life prospects of 230,000 students in 22 states and 12 countries. Dan Delaney brings to NFTE 16 years of experience in developing and growing revenue, key partnerships and programs to support the objectives of various nonprofit organizations. An entrepreneur in his own right, Dan has had his own consulting firm, Public Good Consulting, for the past five years, providing a full range of management, marketing and development and consulting services to nonprofits and foundations. His clients included America's Second Harvest/The Starr Foundation, StoryCorps, American Red Cross and Special Olympics International. Previously, Dan was the Vice President of Philanthropy at America's Second Harvest (now named Feeding America), where he was the primary development contact on new major gifts totaling nearly $54 million (including the largest private foundation grant in the organization's history).

Columbia Theological Seminary Atlanta, GA Columbia Theological Seminary is an educational institution of the Presbyterian Church (USA), and a community of theological inquiry and formation. It offers six graduate degree programs and dozens of lifelong learning courses and events as a resource for church professionals and lay people.
