Readers' choice: 10 most popular BoardWalk downloads of 2007
Over the past twelve months, BoardWalk's website has had over 135,000 visitors. Collectively, you viewed nearly half a million pages there--numbers we find amazing and humbling. We are pleased that so many of you have found our site so relevant to nonprofit leadership and governance, BoardWalk's exclusive focus.
Equally gratifying is the reaction to the articles, tips and tools we offer on the website and in smorgasBoard, our mostly-monthly newsletter. This past year alone, some 36,000 copies of our articles were downloaded.
Here are the top 10 downloads, both new and classics, that our readers requested from us during 2007. In case you missed one, just click the highlighted text to open a printable copy:
- "From Management to Governance: The Board's Evolving Role"
- "The Five Dysfunctions of a Board"
- Nonprofit Governance and Accountability: The Listening Post Project
- McKinsey & Co's guide to board self-assessment
