Junior Prom
The Junior Prom for the Class of
2010 will be held on April 24th at Castlewood Country Club in
Pleasanton. Students are
encouraged to attend as singles, pairs or in groups. Invitations were delivered to all 11th grade
students in English class on Friday March 26 2010. Keep your eyes opened for your invitations/postcards for
your "Two Tickets to Paradise."
Students are required to travel to
and from the prom on chartered buses leaving from Acalanes. The cost is $70 per person and includes
transportation, dinner dancing, casino games, beverages and party favor. The Junior Prom is semi-formal/formal
and students should dress accordingly.
Parent packets were mailed home week before last and contain everything
a parent needs to know about the event.
Parents, please review the packet and note that your student will need
a signed permission slip in order to purchase a ticket.

Dear Junior Parents,
Now that the Prom theme has been revealed, and the invitations
delivered, all our students are abuzz with Prom details. Boy I bet
they are getting thirsty already!! Did you know that we are collecting
cases of Coke, Diet Coke, Sprite, Diet Sprite and Root Beer for the
evening's festivities so the Juniors can readily quench their thirst
and continue to party-on??
If you would like to donate a case of soda, please email Pais Barton at paisabar@gmail.com
to let her know what you'll be contributing. I will respond to the
email, and keep a record so that as we get closer to April 24th, I will
remind everyone of their donation and give directions where the sodas
can be dropped off in the AHS office.
