June has arrived and it's time to get moving so get your buns outside! Are you ready? Are in shape, on track with your life and full of energy? If not, then GET MOVING! No more excuses, especially since June is National Great Outdoors Month! No matter where you are or what is going on in your life, uplift yourself and get outside to enjoy the outdoors and reap the many benefits of connecting with nature! So what about those other buns - you know...the ones you throw on the BBQ grill to get nice and toasty for your burger. June is designated as the Great Outdoors Month! In 1988, then-President Clinton began the recognition of Great Outdoors Week. Since 2004, Presidential proclamation of Great Outdoors Month has been recognized annually, celebrating a variety of important events and actions that occur during the month. Great Outdoors Month highlights the benefits of active fun outdoors and our magnificent shared resources of forests, parks, refuges, and other public lands and waters.
