SMALL GAMES OF CHANCE

On February 2, 2012, Governor Corbett signed in to law House Bill 169 which is the first amendment to the Small Games of Chance Act in more than 20 years.  

 

MARCELLUS SHALE

Marcellus Shale bill that could result in an approximate

1% levy on Marcellus Shale natural gas well revenues.

 

Vital Statistics Law of 1963
Senate Bill No. 361 amends the Vital Statistics Law of 1963 and as Act 110 of 2011 offers, as of February 15, 2012, expanded public records for people seeking birth and death certificates of other persons. 
 
Pennsylvania Public Utilities Law
House Bill No. 1294 amends the Pennsylvania Public Utilities Law to provide economic incentives for utility companies to replace their aging pipeline infrastructure.
