Sun Valley Film Festival Announces

Alaska Airlines Sponsorship

Sun Valley, ID - The Sun Valley Film Festival (SVFF) is pleased to announce Alaska Airlines as a 2012 festival sponsor and the "Official Airline for the Sun Valley Film Festival." The festival takes place March 15-18. The Seattle-based carrier is the seventh-largest U.S. airline, serving the continental United States, Canada, Mexico and four Hawaiian Islands. Alaska Airlines provides seasonal daily flights to Sun Valley from Los Angeles and Seattle.

"We're proud to support the Sun Valley Film Festival and its vision for this event," said Clint Ostler, Alaska Airlines' manager of retail advertising and sponsorships. "This festival is a perfect fit for Alaska Airlines and our customer base. We're excited about the opportunity to be part of a new signature event for this region."

As part of this exclusive partnership, Alaska Airlines will host the "Alaska Airlines Wrap Party" on Sunday, March 18, in Ketchum Town Square. All festival attendees and the entire town are invited to this event, marking the conclusion of the festival. The SVFF Audience Award winner will be announced at the party and will receive two roundtrip tickets on Alaska Airlines. In addition, Alaska Airlines and the Sun Valley Resort teamed up to promote the festival with an exclusive Sweepstakes offer for a chance to win two round-trip tickets on Alaska Airlines to Sun Valley, VIP film passes, and two nights at the Sun Valley Resort.

"We're thrilled to have Alaska Airlines as a sponsor," said SVFF Executive Director Teddy Grennan. "They've been great fun to work with and we're looking forward to their involvement for many years to come."

SVFF is proud to present two awards found at no other film festival - the One In A Million, which honors filmmakers who have made a standout film for under a million dollars, and the Vision Award, which recognizes producers and their filmmaking journeys.
