FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
Sun Valley's rich cinematic history will be ushered into the 21st century on March 15-18, 2012, when the Sun Valley Film Festival welcomes cutting-edge independent films, premieres, and previews of new television and web series.
For three days, the festival will screen films at the Sun Valley Opera House and the Magic Lantern Cinemas. Borrowing from the family-friendly spirit of Sun Valley, the festival includes kid's programming, the SVFF Audience Award, and everyone is invited to begin each day with a Kaffeeklatsch-a morning coffee series where filmmakers and industry experts engage the audience in a range of topics.
The idyllic setting of Sun Valley, the original ski town steeped in Hollywood heritage, provides a truly unique location for a festival. In addition, we are proud to present two awards found at no other film festival - the One In A Million, which honors filmmakers who have made a standout film for under a million dollars, and the Vision Award, which recognizes producers and their filmmaking journeys. The public is invited to our March 18 awards presentation and closing ceremony.
This spring, filmmakers from around the world bring their vision to the Sun Valley Film Festival and you're invited to watch it come into focus.
