The Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen has had a long-standing commitment to student health, prevention and wellness. We are part of the Valley Stream Wellness Committee, a committee of educators and community members from all four of the Valley Stream school districts. One of the committee's goals for the 2012-13 school year is to provide programs for our parents and guardians on issues related to student health, social emotional learning and wellness. The committee is extremely interested in knowing what interests our community members.
