The Valley Stream UFSD Thirteen has many online resources your family and you can use from any computer that has Internet access. Some of these online resources include: the HSP Math textbook, the Harcourt Science textbook, The World Book Encyclopedia, The Grolier's Encyclopedia, videos from Discovery Education, Brainpop, and more. A parent recently asked if there was a way we could have the user names and passwords available for families.

We are pleased to inform you that we have been able to post the user names and passwords for many of our online databases and subscriptions for you. These are posted on the eSchool Parent Portal.

You must have an eSchool Parent Portal account to access this information. If you do not have access to the eSchool Portal and are a parent or guardian of a child attending Howell Road School, Willow Road School, James A. Dever School or Wheeler Avenue School, the first step to accessing the information is to go to the website, www.valleystream13.com, and click on the link for creating an eSchool Parent Portal account. Follow the directions. Once your account has been confirmed, you will be able to access these resources.

If you do have an eSchool Parent Portal account, just log on to the portal and click on the links for the online resources. You will find these resources helpful, especially when your child is doing research or needs clarification on a topic.
