Market Statistics for  March 2012

The March stats packages from the Real Estate Board of Greater Vancouver and the Fraser Valley Real Estate Board are available on my website at How's the Market

  

REBGV reported that home sales for March were the second lowest since 2002, while there were more new listings for March than is typical for the month. The FVREB reported that March was slower than usual, but there was increased demand for affordable homes under $500K, and for town homes.

 

Let's look more closely at single-family homes across the region.  Reminder: the House Price Index shows the percentage increase over 2005 prices.
