The Northport Chamber of Commerce is very excited to present SUMMERFEST in Northport Village Park beginning Thursday August 11th, and it continues for four consecutive Thursday evenings, through Sept. 1st.

Many of you had signed up to help out on our volunteer sheet at recent Chamber membership meetings.  If you can still help us, we would love to hear back from you ASAP. 

I'm looking for at least four to six volunteers per show.  Basically we need help greeting people on either side at the entrance to the park by the patio area.  You would simply greet people, answer any questions and hand out programs.  Two people are needed for this from about 7 to 8:30pm.  We also need a couple of people to work at the Chamber tent, again answering questions, giving out brochures, and dispensing water bottles, bug spray, etc., and taking donations ($1.00 suggested donation for water and insect repellent as we are not allowed to "sell" anything there.) This would last a bit longer, through the duration of the show which typically lasts until 10pm.

Please let me know when you are available to volunteer as soon as possible.  We will also provide Chamber T-shirts to wear at the event.  Your help is greatly appreciated!
