H.E. Sutton Forwarding Co. continues on as the official US equine air carrier of PRO

Vero Beach, FL - Jan. 4, 2011 - The Professional Riders Organization announced today that H.E. Sutton Forwarding Company will continue as the Official US Equine Air Carrier of PRO in 2011. 

H.E. Tex Sutton Forwarding Company has been synonymous with world-class equine air transportation for five decades. Their wealth of experience in maintaining high standards of safety, efficiency and comfort in a healthy, stress-free environment for the horses in their care ensures that owners and riders can ship their horses with confidence.

"We are very happy to continue our sponsorship of the Professional Riders Organization and to provide affordable opportunities for their equine competitors to compete across the country," said Rob Clark, President of H.E. Sutton Forwarding Company.  

In 2010, the H.E. Sutton Forwarding Company was responsible for shipping 19 horses round-trip on a charter flight between Baltimore, MD and Kalispell, MT for the Event at Rebecca Farm, and later in the year provided round-trip transportation for five horses competing at the inaugural Galway Downs International CCI3* in Temecula, CA.

Allison Springer, whose horse Arthur flew out to California recently, praised the professionalism of the flight crew, "Sutton Forwarding's crew was efficient and took great care of our horses."  Springer, vice president of PRO, also spoke of the difference this sponsorship has made to riders and owners, "Everyone knows that competing gets very expensive and Sutton Forwarding's sponsorship of PRO has made it much more affordable for our members to really consider taking advantage of the option of air travel within the US. It has allowed us to get to competitions that we wouldn't normally go to because of the stress and fatigue placed on our horses when faced with long-distance road travel."
