Birthday Gift to Jesus Tops $140k
The Christmas Eve offering to our 'Birthday Gift to Jesus' has hit and surpassed the $140,000 mark!!!
Thank you, St. Matthew for your generous outpouring of love for Christ and the commitment to His outreach ministries!
The money is slated to help build hostel, kitchen and bath facilities so that young girls will have a chance at an education. Education that young boys already have the privelege to receive. Ethiopian women are undervalued in their culture and have fewer opportunities of attending school, especially when the school is so far from their homes.
A portion of the funds, of the Birthday Gift to Jesus will be used closer to home in outreach within our own community.
Thank you very much, Church! |

Every parent knows they need to lead their children spiritually, the question is "How"? Register now for the Parent Summit on Jan 28th and get your family on the "path" to Legacy Milestones.
Legacy Milestones is a strategy for the church and home to walk together in teaching our kids the core concepts they need to develop an authentic faith in Jesus Christ. At the summit, parents will attend age appropriate classes for their children to achieve milestones as follows:
Milestone 1-Parent Commitment/Baby Baptism - parents of ages: expecting - toddlers.

Milestone 4 - A Life of Purity, parents of ages 13-14
Milestone 5 - Rite of Passage. parents of ages: 15-16
Milestone 6 - Life after High School, parents of ages: 17-18
