Above is a Poured Resin Bar Top at the Guadalajara Restaurant in Virginia Beach. It was constructed using end lit fibers pointing up under a translucent top of tinted resin in various shades of blue. The fibers are lit in shades of blue as well. Controlled animation gives the realistic effect of cool water flowing under a sheet of thin ice. Doesn't that wet your appetite! The same technique using different colors has given birth to other hot ideas, such as flowing lava.
