CEDIA 2010 Expo and FOSI Star Ceilings news

In the previous issue, we announced that we will have a full-featured display at the CEDIA 2010 Expo in September. What does that mean to you? Our display at the CEDIA 2010 Expo will consist of an actual evening night sky. In fact, it's from September 20th at 10pm at the 42nd degree latitude to be exact. The total display size is 8'-9" x 14'. It will be installed at an angle for enhanced visibility and so that you can get first-hand appreciation of the easy joist hanging system installation.

How does almost 5,000 fibers sound to you? The display will consist of the evening sky, including over 500 stars in the Milky Way, over 230 constellation stars, and 12 constellations accurately positioned for that evening. It also contains over 800 dark blue fibers in the independently lit constellation outlines, four wall-to-wall shooting stars with 30 fibers each, one comet of 100 fibers, and two sets of fireworks of five bursts each at almost 3,000 fibers in all.

It's going to be a wild night - every day at the CEDIA tradeshow! The shooting stars are so realistic, you will have to look for them as the shoot across the night sky. Comets are a rare but spectacular sight to behold. Watch this comet as it glows from head to showering tail. Additionally, each of the constellation stars twinkles randomly with no apparent pattern.
