I hope that you are having a wonderful day! Another week has begun, and it is May! Hard to believe that the year is already over a third of the way done! It seems like just yesterday it was the new year! Time flies. I have only 6 more weeks to train for my competition. It is hard to believe that it will be here so soon! I am ready. I am feeling great and strong, and I will try not to be too hungry in the mornings!! :)
The competition is on June 18, at 6 PM. It is at the Hyatt Regency O'Hare, in Rosemont. I know that there has been talk of a few of you who want to come to the show. If you are interested, please let me know. It will be a very big show - I think that there will be over 100 women in the figure category. I expect nothing less than another win, so I will be busting my booty for six more weeks. I hope that you can already see some changes in my body, but over the next four weeks, you will really notice the differences! Every single workout and every single meal counts from here on out. I will not accept anything less than the best out of myself.
Thank you so much for pushing yourselves and working so hard. You are giving me your all and pushing through every morning! You have to give your body a reason to change. I know sometimes we think that we are doing everything we possibly can to get the results that we want. But if you are eating the same, or exercising the same, and expecting to get different results than you got before, you are not being realistic. You cannot do the same thing over and over again and expect to get different results each time. Make changes. Stimulate your body differently. Eat better. If you think that you are eating the best possible, email me your food journal and I will look at it. You might just have to adjust what you think healthy foods are. Change how you are working out. If you don't seem to be getting stronger, then do your push up slower and make your muscles work in different ways. Pause at the bottom of your squats and really make your buns work to get you back up.
Anything you do, make it your best. If you are having trouble, talk to me. I am here for you. I can offer you an ear to vent or helpful suggestions to get you through. You are not alone. You have an entire community of women who are here for you. Each one is at a different stage of her journey, but she is here for you, as I am. Use the facebook page, come to the Saturday workouts, reach out. You will be amazed at the love, respect, and support we have for each other.
For our Mother's Day celebration workout this Saturday, we will be meeting at McGraw Park at 8 AM. Please bring your daughters, mothers, sisters, aunts, grandmas, I am open to having anyone. I would love for you to share a workout with someone you love! My mom will be joining us as well, so for those of you who have not yet met my momma, you will get to on Saturday. We will have some fun and hopefully get in a great workout! I hope to see all of you there!! As usual if it is raining, we will have to cancel the workout. I will update on Facebook and email if we are not going to meet.
