As I sit here trying to type in press on nails, I am thinking about how amazing it felt to be up there on stage.  Hearing the roar of the crowd when I walked out was breath taking.  Every time!  Thank you so much for supporting me.  WE WON ladies.  We did it!  I achieved my goal.  I will probably continue on and go for more trophies.  Now that I know what it is all about, I will be more prepared for the tough times that I faced during the process...and no, Janis, I won't be as cranky next time!  :)  I promise...
 
 
 
 
Thank you so much for the shirts.  Team Blaudow is amazing.  I am 100% amazed by the support that you all showed me.  Support is so important when you are on the fitness journey, and I am so thankful that you all have a support system.  I am here for you and about 60 other women are here for you.  I know that the journey is not easy.  But it is worth it.  There are absolutely "NO REGRETS" when you are changing your body and your life and making it HEALTHY!
 
 
 
Thank you so much for the support.  I am in awe of all of you!  I love you and I could not have done this without you!  Thank you for being excited with me.  Thank you for sharing in this journey.  Three months ago, if you would have told me that I would be on stage, let alone sweeping a figure show, I would not have believed you!  Now look.  I have four trophies.  I am so proud of myself for pushing through the tough times.  I am proud of how my body looks.  I may just have to do it again, ladies!  :)
 
Thank you so much for your hard work over the last 2 months.  I am so proud of you all!!  You are phenomenal women and I am so lucky to have you all as my support!  Now, back to normal life - spotlight is back on you - Let's make all of your dreams come true.

My Before and After...
Some of you wanted to see what I looked like before I started this.  Chris and I started out 2010 taking pictures on the first of each month.  It would have been awesome if we would have kept it up.  We made it to February.  :)  I met most of you in the early spring, so you know how my body changed over the last few months before this competition.  It would be cool to have photographic evidence, but this will have to do.  I am so impressed with my legs.  I NEVER in a million years thought that they would look the way they did last night.  That is the biggest accomplishment that I have ever had.  Forget high school graduation, travelling across Europe, bench pressing my body weight...nope...lean legs!  The ultimate goal in life.  SUCCESS!  :)

So, I am not going to go too far off my diet.  I want to keep my lean legs for as long as I can!!  My Food Journal so far today...
 
5:30 (I have no idea why I was up so early)  1/2 banana in vanilla protein shake with ice.  It was delicious.  By far better than the milkshake that I passed up last night at Steak n' Shake!!  Water, green tea
 
7:30  2 c. spinach, wilted.  One egg, sprinkle of 2% sharp cheddar cheese.  I know...not enough protein, but I am thinking my family will be up any time and I will make something for them for breakfast...so it was smaller.  :)
 
Back to normal life!!!  I am so excited. 
 
 Boot Camp Appreciation Picnic 
Our first Boot Camp appreciation picnic will be held on Sunday, July 25, 2010 , at McGraw Park, from 1-3 PM.  Please plan to come, bring your families and a healthy dish to share.  Please email the recipe for your healthy dish to Ciarra at ciarra1028@hotmail.com.  She will have recipe cards for each dish ready at the picnic so we can each have the recipes for the ones we want to make again.  Please email Ciarra by Tuesday of this week so that she has time to get everything prepared. 
 
The ladies who are planning the details for the party are going to have lots of fun things for us to do.  I am really looking forward to meeting your families and being able to relax together!  We work so hard every other time we are together, this will be a day of fun and celebrating!  Thank you in advance for coming, and to those of you who will miss the party, we will miss you!
Saturday Workout
For those of you who are interested, I will be having a Saturday workout this weekend as well.  Please meet me at IWU track parking lot (The Shirk Center) at 8 AM Saturday morning.  We will get in a great workout, I promise!!

August Nutrition Class 
July really got away from me with the competition and the picnic.  We will pick up our regularly scheduled third Thursday nutrition class in August.  August 19th at 6 PM we will meet and talk nutrition.  Like always, we will meet at the pavilion at Brook Ridge Park, on the corner of Hershey and Ireland Grove.
