Greetings!

When you start to miss me in the evenings and over the weekends, you can do this at home workout.  Make sure you push yourself.  Imagine that I am with you in your living room. 


This workout should only take you about 15-20 minutes, but it will really rev-up your metabolism and get you burning more calories.

 

For those of you who have to take business trips this month, print it out and take it with you.  You can workout in your hotel room and when you get back, you won't feel like you have missed out.  Carla is gone this week, and she has already reported back to me that she has done the workout once, it took 21 minutes and she was out of breath and broke a sweat.  Great Job Carla!!  Can't wait to see you when you get back next week!



Do each exercise for 30 seconds or shoot for about 10-15 reps.

 

Squats - squat down to a chair/your couch if you are having trouble getting your behind down.  Work on getting your thighs parallel to the ground without letting your knees go past your toes.

Push-ups - do them in your kitchen on the counter or use two chairs to get the right angle.

Run in place - for 30 seconds 

Rest for 30 seconds.  Catch your breath and repeat 2-3 times.



Jumping Jacks - 30 Seconds

Push-ups - 30 seconds

Sumo Squats - 30 Seconds

Rest 30 seconds and repeat 2-3 times


High Knees - get those knees up to your chest

Plank

Hip Extension - Really squeeze your buns at the top

Rest 30 seconds and repeat 2-3 times.


The most important thing is to get moving!  When you have extra energy, get out there and use it!  Call your friends this weekend and take a walk...it is supposed to be 47 degrees (thank you, Sarah, for filling me in on that one :).
