First Phase of Park West
 
Construction crews are now moving dirt and preparing the way for Park West's anchor tenant - Target.  Park West is located on the corner of  Cary Parkway and Hwy 54 / Chapel Hiil Road.  The Park West development was reconfigured to three phases that call for 650,000 square feet of retail, 100,000 square feet of offices, and 255 apartments.  In addition to Target, 18 other tenants have committed including Wake County's first location for Buy Buy Baby and the Triangle's first Omaha Steaks location.  View Cary News article.

 
Cary Parkway and High House Intersection Survey
 
Have you ever tried to turn left from High House Rd onto Cary Parkway during rush hour traffic?  Not a pleasant experience!  The town of Cary is studying the intersection and considering potential changes to accommodate increased future traffic and safety concerns.  Please take a few minutes and complete a survey with your input and feedback about future intersection improvements.  I took the survey and it's quite simple and to the point .... Complete survey by 8-31

Bottled salsas are fine in a pinch, but making fresh salsa is the type of effortless act that can instantly elevate your food and score you big points with anyone you cook for.  All salsas follow a basic formula: 1 part aromatics + 2 parts flavor base. 

Begin with a finely chopped mix of onions, cilantro, and peppers (jalapeno, serrano, red bell).  Add your flavor base: Tomatoes (roasted or raw) are favorites, but pineapple, mango, black beans, and corn can all play the role just as well.  Finish with a bit of acid (lemon or lime juice, vinegar) and salt and pepper.
