The After School Safety and Enrichment for Teens (ASSETs) program is federally a funded partnerships between LAUSD's Beyond the Bell Office, Venice High School and the Boys & Girls Club of Venice to provide safe and exciting learning, health, social services, cultural and recreational programs after school and on weekends for high school students.

The ASSETs program strives to bring back the most at-risk children and youth into a safe educational environment that is inviting and one in which they feel that they can succeed. Paid and volunteer mentors and tutors, as well as teachers working after-school, help to care for and educate students. Students participate in leadership activities at their school to promote student awareness of issues and problems caused by drug and alcohol abuse, smoking, and domestic violence. Students take part in a wide range of programs. Click here to check out the program schedule.
