National Nutrition Month: Nutrition from the Ground Up

One very important celebration that occurs during the month of March is National Nutrition Month. National Nutrition Month is a nutrition education and information campaign created by the American Dietetic Association. The purpose of the campaign is to promote healthy life choices in the areas of food, nutrition and fitness. This year's focus is on improving overall health by starting with the basics ... hence this year's theme, "Nutrition from the Ground Up."

Volunteers, help us promote National Nutrition Month in our Club for the entire month of March! Participate by hosting a cooking class and teach our youth easy and healthy recipes or be a guest speaker and discuss what good nutrition is all about. The opportunities are endless!
