Although it could mean that you need to step it up some... it's not necessary to get sore in order to mean that you had a good workout. You can still have awesome workouts and not get sore. You may have also seen this one on my facebook, but again, if you haven't, it's a very good leg workout done just on the leg press machine. This workout will target quads, hams, inner thighs, glutes, and calves! Lots of bang for your buck on the leg press without even getting off your butt... lol.
