HLI's documentary "The Philippines: Preserving a Culture of Life" can now be viewed in full on the web. As the fight for life continues against the RH Bill in the Philippines, HLI is hoping to put more public pressure on the Filipino Congress to reject the anti-life bill. The short film will also be featured at the Life Fest Film Festival in May, and will re-air on EWTN in May. Read More...

WORLDWATCH: HLI Defends Life, Family, and Religious Freedom at Summit of the Americas

HLI presented a strong defense of life, family, and religious liberty during the Sixth Summit of the Americas, an event coordinated by the Organization of American States (OAS). The OAS is comprised of member states of North and South America and the Caribbean. The theme of this year's summit, held April 9 - 15, was "Connecting the Americas: Partners for Prosperity." Marek Michalčík, executive director of Fórum zivota (Forum for Life), HLI's affiliate in Slovakia, reports on the 12th annual Day of the Unborn Child in Slovakia that took place on March 25. Pro-life demonstrations took place in the cities of Bratislava and Kosice. The theme this year was "Life is the right choice!" Read More...

HLI America Fellow Dr. Denise Hunnell reflects on a case some are using to promote euthanasia and "death with dignity." According to the Washington Post, Adrienne Snelling had Alzheimer's disease and did not want to live after all hope of a "good life" was over, so her husband Charles killed her before taking his own life.
