In Memoriam: Dr. Bernard Nathanson

Bernard Nathanson

Human Life International -- and indeed, the entire pro-life movement -- will sorely miss Dr. Bernard Nathanson.  He was a great friend to, and collaborator with, HLI and our founder, Fr. Paul Marx, O.S.B., who passed away in April of last year. His courage, knowledge and humor brought light to a difficult struggle, and his knowledge of the inner workings of the abortion industry were priceless.

Sudan

The participants came from all the different regions of Sudan to meet at St. Paul's Major Seminary, which is situated on the banks of the beautiful Blue Nile River. The Blue Nile merges with the White Nile in Khartoum; the waters of these two rivers form the lifeblood of the city's residents.  Read More...

More than 600 people, among them two cardinals and 10 archbishops and bishops from 15 countries, attended this year's 17th Asia-Pacific Congress (ASPAC) on Faith, Life and Family, held November 6-8 in Manila, Philippines.  The number of participants at these events far exceeded expectations.

The abortion industry lies when they say "hard cases" are the main reasons women choose to abort. Citing hard cases (like to save the mother's life, or rape/incest) as an excuse for unrestricted abortion is a play on sympathy. They are more interested in making money, blood money, than helping pregnant women in distress.  Watch the Video...
