"Cut Spending Now" Rally
Monday, October 10, 2011
9:00AM - 10:00AM
2101 Louisiana Boulevard NE

Americans for Prosperity, a fiscal-conservative group, is touring the country demanding that Congress "Cut Spending Now."  The Rio Grande Foundation is sponsoring their visit to Albuquerque next Monday, October 10.  Their organization bus will be stopping at the Albuquerque Marriott, 2101 Louisiana Ave NE, Albuquerque 87110 from 9:00AM - 10:00AM.

This is real short notice, but we would urge all Tea Partiers who can to attend this Rally.  Let's show them there is a large conservative presence in Albuquerque.

Election Results

The Albuquerque Tea Party congratulates conservative council members Brad Winter and Trudy Jones on winning re-election to the Albuquerque City Council.  While we are pleased that the Sportsplex went down to defeat, we do support Mayor Berry's efforts to fund the Paseo del Norte/I-25 upgrade project.  That project is needed to reduce the traffic gridlock and potential traffic safety issues in north Albuquerque.
