ATP State Fair Parade Info
Come join us this Saturday morning at the State Fair Parade and help us show off our "Pride in America"!
The Albuquerque
Tea Party will have an entry in the State Fair Parade this Saturday,
September 11th. The parade is scheduled to start at 8:45 am at the Southeast
corner of Expo New Mexico, Louisiana Blvd and Central Ave. The parade will
travel on Central Avenue and continue for about 2 miles east of the starting
point. The last parade
entry is scheduled to start sometime after 10:00 am. As of this time, we were
not aware of our scheduled starting time, so get there early in case we're one
of the first units to start.
The theme is for ATP's entry is "Pride in
America", and along with showing our pride in
this great nation, we will have a convertible as our float with someone dressed
as the Statue of Liberty in the convertible. The rest of the ATP volunteers will walk along side
carrying signs we have made from your suggestions. On the side of the
convertible we will advertise the upcoming "Get Out The Vote Rally", which will be on Saturday, September 25th

Get Out The Vote Rally
You've been with us for our Tax Day Rallies and our 4th of July
Rally,
but our upcoming "Get Out The Vote" Rally will be the most important
one of them all!
Gather your friends, family, neighbors and co-workers, and come
get motivated for the most critical election cycle of our lifetimes.
Various fellow Tea Partiers will be speaking to you about why they
are passionate about the Albuquerque Tea Party, the importance of this upcoming
election, and why we need all of the conservatives to get off the couch and
vote!
There will also be musical entertainment, and fun for the whole family!Several food and drink vendors have signed up to provide refreshments during the rally, so you'll also have the chance to support local small business people who share your same concerns about our economic situation and status of our great state and nation.
Candidates from both parties in the major State and Federal races
have been invited to present their platform.
Our Patriot Action Team, along with voter registrars will also
participate in this important rally!
