Our Website Was Hacked!

As most of you might know by now, our website was hacked into and shutdown this past weekend. Apparently all of our activities have struck a nerve with the Progressives. They have attempted to silence YOUR voice! If they don't respect your First Amendment rights, what other Constitutional rights might they tread upon next?

Being that we are a grassroots organization, the majority of the Albuquerque Tea Party Board/Volunteers have  full-time jobs, in addition to our full-time commitment to the Tea Party. We employ what time, talent, and money we have available to bring our information and events to you in a suitable manner. We are working diligently to restore our web presence and we really appreciate your continued patience and support.

TAXED ENOUGH ALREADY!

Join us at the City Council Meeting on Thursday, May 6, at 4:00 pm.

If you can not be there at 4:00 pm,

Rally with us on the Civic Plaza until 7:00 pm

Our Nation declared its Independence over two hundred years ago because of excessive government taxation.  Liberal progressives are telling us again that we need higher taxes instead of spending cuts to balance our budget.

Now is the time to reclaim our Government.

Is it fair that the public has a 9% unemployment rate while others do not?  NO! Is it fair that the public has suffered declines while others demand raises?  NO! When can WE reap the benefits of our own labors rather than suffer higher taxes?

We have had our Forums.

We have had our Meet & Greets.

We have had our Tax Day Rallies.

Now is the time to get active and participate directly in our political process!!!!  Now is the time to take back our government!!!  It is time for the Albuquerque Tea Party movement to GET MOVING.......  NO MORE TAXES!!

If we rally with 100 the press will say 10.  If we rally with 1,000 the press will say 100.  When we rallied with 10,000 they claimed 4,000.

As Thomas Paine once said before Washington crossed the Delaware: "These are the times that try men's souls: The summer soldier and the sunshine patriot will, in this crisis, shrink from the service of his country; but he that stands now, deserves the love and thanks of man and woman."

We must again cross the Delaware!!

Let our City Councilors and Mayor know we support limited government, constrained spending, and lower taxes.

Please email your City Council Representative with your comments and copy Mayor Berry at: mayorberry@cabq.gov. Please include your name and address. If you don't know who your Representative is, go to www.cabq.gov/council/councilors, or use the Council District Map. If you would like to contact all city councilors at once, go to this online form and click all the boxes and fill out the rest of the form accordingly.
