Albuquerque Tea Party

Appeal Letter

We are all excited for the victory of the great people of the State of Massachusetts as they exercised their most precious freedom - the privilege to vote!  They were heard loud and clear with the overwhelming victory of Scott Brown over Martha Coakley for the senate seat in Massachusetts. And now those scoundrels on Capitol Hill have heard loud and clear.  Massachusetts was the site of the first American Revolution, and it may well be the start of the next Revolution!  We, in New Mexico, applaud Massachusetts, and will be following their clarion call.

But remember, the battle has just begun, and we cannot lose momentum.

As we look back, 2009 was a devastating year for Americans.  We saw our wonderful nation torn apart by partisan politics, behind "closed-door" backroom deals, and outright corruption within the walls of the White House and Congress, both in Washington D.C., and in the State of New Mexico.  Like you, we at the Albuquerque Tea Party are fed up with the lack of integrity, honesty and honor that our "leaders" have exhibited and it is time that they are stopped!

We, the People, cannot, and will not stand by and watch this great nation of ours be transformed into a tyrannical government for which our Founding Fathers fought so hard against.

We need your help!  We must feed the grassfire of support for faith, family and freedom that was ignited nationwide last spring when hundreds of thousands of concerned Americans of all ages came together and formed the Tea Party movement, which blazes across this great nation today!

We must be ready to oppose the Obama-Pelosi-Reid Progressive agenda, which they will stop at nothing to get passed through Congress.

As Rep. Michele Bachmann (R-MN) said, "This is our liberty or tyranny moment."

When We Stand Together, Show Up, and Speak Out . . . We Win!

With the help and support of our volunteers and patriots, the Albuquerque Tea Party has worked tirelessly to keep New Mexicans informed on those issues before Congress, which threaten our freedoms and individual rights.

We have hosted forums on Healthcare Reform.  Most recently, we brought together Congressional candidates to a Meet and Greet, so that they could hear the voice of the people.  We continually offer educational opportunities to equip our citizens with the tools to fight the onslaught of the Left-Wing, Progressive agenda.

In the coming months, we will be hosting two gubernatorial forums, and Meet and Greets, where the candidates of various races will have a chance to listen to the people.  We have also planned a very special and exciting event in the month of May. We will announce those details very soon.  And, of course, we will line the streets in April for the Second Annual Tea Party Rally!

You can take great satisfaction knowing that your support for the Albuquerque Tea Party will be instrumental in building a strong, non-partisan coalition that is dedicated to preserving the Constitutional rights of the citizens of the United States by limiting government, constraining government spending and taxation, and advancing a free market economy.

Looking to 2010, we face daunting challenges, but we are ready for the fight.

We're asking you, today, to come along side and take a stand with us by making a donation of $10, $20, $50, $100 or whatever you can afford.  Your donations will help with the expenses incurred in bringing educational opportunities to the public, advertising, Meet and Greets, and other event facility rentals. Because of our Non-Profit status, donations are not tax deductible.

The Albuquerque Tea Party thanks you for your time and generosity.

P.S.  Sadly, as we heard in President Obama's State of the Union address, nothing has changed - he does not acknowledge the will of the People, even after the great people of Massachusetts spoke loud and clear.  It is business as usual. Business in Washington must change!
