Your Albuquerque Tea Party friends are working to help Senator William E. Sharer pass his Senate Joint Resolution 2 through the legislature this session.

The Joint Resolution would amend New Mexico's constitution to protect a person's freedom of choice of a private health care plan, to prevent any governmental interference with a person's right to pay directly for lawful medical care, to prevent the government from imposing any penalty or fine upon a person for choosing or declining to enroll in a health care plan.

We need your help in this endeavor. Would you please send the attached letters to the Chair, Vice Chair and members of the Senate Rules Committee as soon as possible, and ask your friends and neighbors to do the same. We hope to make this a state-wide effort.
