The Albuquerque Tea Party urges readers to subscribe to
Jim Scarantino's new web site, New Mexico Watchdog. New Mexico Watchdog is a project of The Rio Grande Foundation.
Jim Scarantino, a New Mexico columnist and blogger, was first to break the
story of the phantom congressional districts reported in the Obama
Administration's stimulus spending accounting. Jim Scarantino also broke the story regarding Lt. Governor Diane Denish using $225,000 in federal funds to pay for a driver to shuttle her to
meetings and press events, a contractor to take Christmas pictures and
write Christmas cards, a lawyer to make hotel reservations, opinion
polling and public relations services. As we prepare for the 2010 elections,
investigative reporting such as this will be crucial in keeping all voters
informed and armed with facts. Jim Scarantino's New Mexico Watchdog
site and Paul Gessing's Rio Grande Foundation share similar values
with the Albuquerque Tea Party. However, each remain separate
entities.
Thank you for your continued support!
