National Schools Film Week Visits

Pupils from Reception Forms 1, 2, 3, 4, 5 & 6 will be visiting cinemas to see films during the week of 18th October. The Pupils will be doing work related to the films in lessons at this time.

Choir singing at Christmas
carol singingPupils in the School Choir have been invited to sing at a variety of venues over the Christmas period.
 
Please could parents of choir members confirm the dates that their children are available

open morningProspective parents and pupils are invited to come between 10am and 3pm and see the School on a normal day to meet the pupils, staff and governors.
Harvest Celebration Wednesday 6th October
food brought in to St Winifred's for harvest assemblyDonations of food will be great fully received for our assembly that focuses on the Harvest .
 
This food is then sent to Southampton BASIC bank to be distributed to deserving families in Southampton.
Open morning for current Nursery Parents
Invitations have been sent to parents of pupils currently in Nursery who will be starting Reception in September 2011 to come in a view the main school.
Murder Mystery Supper Evening on 15th October
murdermysteryGeorge V, Kieran and Daniel have helped to write an Agatha Christie style plot for you to unravel.
 
Do come along and join in the fun to see if you can work out the murderer. The action takes place at the launch night of the new cocktail 'Icy Gasp'. The scene is set in the 1930's. Mrs Morris is cooking a special meal ending with a slice of 'Death by Chocolate.'
  
The evening will include a quiz and raffle.
 
Please order your tickets and meal from the school office.
Clubs this week
Times and days of the School Clubs for the autumn term are on the School website. 
 
Clubs are run by staff in their own time, so prompt collection from these is appreciated.  If you are delayed, please phone and let us know. If your child will not be able to attend a club please inform the school office or teacher concerned.
 
Cookery Club dates and ingredients can be found on the Clubs page of the School website. This week the pupils will be making Spicy Apple Fruitcakes.
