Dear Friend,

AAs we were all suffering through the recent heat wave and record high temperatures, I found myself thinking about 'balance.'
Remember this past year's long, harsh winter? I believe nature brings balance to itself. And I believe that if we are patient, we will see that all things eventually find a balance ... the weather, our finances, our relationships. If we persevere, we eventually find the bad gives way to the good. And, along the way, we may even learn something we can put to positive use in the future.
I hope that, even through these challenging times, you can find that balance in your own life - and enjoy what life has in store for you!

Your Friend,
'A'

Just In: Cocktail Infusion
Tea ForteIt's easy! These new infusers are filled with a unique blend of all natural teas, herbs and spices. Place an infuser into a glass, pour the alcohol over the infuser, and watch the color swirl as the delicious flavors are released. Add the rest of your cocktail ingredients and enjoy! No hot water is needed.

Simplicity Decor News
I'm very proud to let you know that Simplicity Dcor has recently received an award for Best Workplace for Recycling and Waste Reduction from the King County government.

Color of the Month
FernGreen is another of my favorite colors. In Thailand, it has long been believed that green is healing for the eyes. And green jade has long been held to be a sacred, healing stone throughout much of Asia. In the West, too, green is the color of nature, fertility, life. It is the color of balance and connotes personal growth and inner harmony. (And, of course, in America, it often symbolizes money.) Bringing green into our homes, whether with plants or other accents and decor, makes us feel more restful, relaxed, refreshed and reenergized.

Simple Home Decor Tip
Colorful RoomPaint is an easy and inexpensive way to completely transform the look and feel of a room. However, picking the right color often isn't an easy task. As a general guideline, cool colors like blues, blue-greens, violets and grays are best for quiet spaces like bedrooms, offices, nurseries and bathrooms. Warm colors like yellow, red, orange, beige and cream are perfect for living rooms, dining rooms and kitchens. Whenever you're looking for inspiration or need help with paint or colors please be sure to visit our Color Lounge.

A is the kind of individual we all strive to be ...
