Catalyst Miami thanks the Miami-Dade Legislative Delegation and staff for their enthusiastic reception during our Days of ACTion in Tallahassee. Special kudos to Rep. Cynthia Stafford who graciously hosted us and even greeted our advocates with a big welcome sign!

Feds to Review Fair Districts

In response to public outrage and the lawsuit by League of Women Voters, Democracia Ahora and  NAACP, as well as great work by FairDistricts, the Florida Legislature resubmitted Amendments 5 & 6 to Department of Justice for pre-clearance leading to full implementation.

We will continue to monitor the situation in order to ensure that the changes, approved by over 3 million voters in 2010 are not disregarded.
