January 2010 Membership Meeting

Kick off the New Year at 11:30 a.m.

Running Aces Harness Park in Columbus!
Cost: $15 Members  / $20 Non-Members  

Joe McIntosh of Dale Carnegie Training works with companies to help them improve their performance by improving the performance of their people. He will present on the effective methods of networking:

Benefit Pancake Breakfast @ Meadows on Fairview
Friday, January 8; 8am-10:30am
Treat your friends to breakfast for only $2! All funds raised will go toward the purchasing of supplies for the Forest Lake Senior Center. This non-profit center is the place older adults gather for great social times. Click Here for a flyer to hang in your place of business.
 
Brown Bag Lunch - "Getting Started with Social Networking" 
Tuesday, February 2; 12-1pm @ FLACC
Social Networking has become the #1 activity on the internet today. Interested in debuting your business on Social Networking sites, but are having trouble getting started? Join Jessie Bystrom, Executive Assistant at the Chamber for a Brown Bag Lunch Session to get yourself out there and to learn the basic benefits of social networking for your business. Please bring your own lunch and a laptop to participate. Limit is 5 participants. E-Mail chamber@flacc.org to register.

Start 2010 on the right foot... by attending this exciting community business event.  You will have the opportunity to hear about the upcoming legislative session from David Olson, President of the MN Chamber and you will participate in a break out session with other businesses. Forest Lake Lions Ice Golf Tournament

     The Forest Lake Lions are holding an Ice Golf Tournament to raise funds for local non-profit groups. What would be more fun that a bunch of Minnesotans getting together to play golf on a frozen lake while raising money for a good cause at the same time?
Information:
The tournament will take place on 1st Lake on Saturday, February 20, 2010.
7am Lions Pancake Breakfast & The Forest Laker
9am Registration @ The Office Cocktail (The Forest Laker)
10am Tee Time
Who Will Benefit?
The Lions help many different non-profit organizations in the community. This year, money raised will go to the Forest Lake Fire and Police Departments.
Your Involvement:
*Sponsor a Hole for $150
*Get a 1-4 person team per sponsorship - Food and Beverage tickets included with sponsorship and chance to win great prizes.
*Receive recognition in all promotions and advertising for the event.
*Have your company represent you at your hole.
*Patricipate and have a great time. Play some golf - Eat some food.
