Social Networking has become the #1 activity on the internet today. Interested in debuting your business on Social Networking sites, but are having trouble getting started? Join Jessie Bystrom, Executive Assistant at the Chamber for a Brown Bag Lunch Session to get yourself out there and to learn the basic benefits of social networking for your business. Please bring your own lunch and a laptop to participate. Limit is 5 participants. E-Mail chamber@flacc.org to register.

FLACC Seeking Representative for City of Forest Lake's Human Rights Commission The FLACC is looking for a chamber member to represent the chamber on the City of Forest Lake Human Rights Commission.
The duties of the Human Rights Commission include promoting the elimination of hate, prejudice and discrimination, to support victims of discrimination, to provide a community response to hate/bias crimes and other human rights violations, to educate the community on the increasing importance of diversity and to encourage and protect the enjoyment and protection of human rights in the community.
The Human Rights Commission meets the 3rd Thursday at 6:30 PM each month. Members include: Judy Bull-Chair, Jan Ochs-Co Chair, Melissa Moris-Secretary, Emmanuel Boh and Dawn Nelson. Susan Young is the Council liaison. For more information on this opportunity and to be the Chamber Liaison please contact Colleen via email (colleen@flacc.org) or a phone call (651-464-3200). This is a great way to get involved in an important city commission and to represent the FLACC. |
