"Chamber Gives Back"
December Membership Meeting Holiday Luncheon
December 10 @ 11:30am

Catch the holiday spirit while enjoying a delicious holiday meal at a reduced price. The Forest Lake High School Choir & Orchestra will provide musical entertainment while you try your hand at some fun games and a chance to win some great prizes!
If you would like to participate by donating a gift card, please contact the Chamber ASAP!
*Anonymous Santa is a charitable, non-profit corporation "dedicated to providing 'Christmas with Dignity' to children from families in crisis." Donated gifts must be unopened, new and suitable for a child - newborn to age 18. Last year, Anonymous Santa game over 1,500 gifts to children in the area. Teenage appropriate gifts are in high demand this holiday season. All donations benefit local families.

Brown Bag Lunch w/Fifth Third Processing  Solutions' Sheri Lundquist
December 1; 12-1p @ the FLACC Office
"Credit Card 101" Learn how credit card processing really works from the time a card is swiped to when the funds are deposited into the business checking account. Additional topics include: The benefits of accepting credit cards and what a business needs to get started.
"Understanding Acupuncture" 
December 2; 2-3pm @ Fairview Lakes Wyoming - Conference Room B
Acupunturist Kevin Chatwin, M.D., will discuss medial accupuncture and how it can be used in conjunction with traditional medicine to relieve pain. This event is FREE and no pre-registration is required. Refreshments will be served.
FLACC Chamber Idol Task Force Meeting 
December 2, 8:30am @ the FLACC Office
"Chamber Idol" is a new event sponsored by the FLACC. This event will take the place of the chamber's Casino Night which was the first Friday in February. If you'd like to be a part of this task force, please attend this first meeting.
FL Floral Christmas Open House
December 4 & 5 During Business Hours
Join Forest Lake Floral & Greenhouse for an open house for pictures with Santa, Storewide Savings and Specials. On Saturday, the Forest Lake Lions Club will be joining them for a "Breakfast with Santa" from 8a-12p. FLF&G is located at 508 Lake St - Forest Lake.
Room For Growing "Breakfast with Santa" 
December 5; 9-11am @ Room For Growing (12th Street - Forest Lake) Join Room For Growing for Breakfast with Santa. Visit with Santa, enjoy a muffin and juice and shop at the Scholastic Book Fair. Admission is Free.
Broadway Avenue Improvement Project 
Meeting for Chamber Members
December 8; 2-3pm @ Washington County Headwaters Service Center: 19955 Forest Road North - Forest Lake
Washington County and SRF Consulting will be presenting an update on the Broadway Avenue Improvement Project. There will also be a question and answer session.
FLACC Holiday Luncheon Membership  Meeting

The Forest Lake Area Chamber of Commerce "West of the Freeway" Members are sponsoring a FREE breakfast with Santa. Join us for a warm breakfast, carolers and a picture with Santa. Ticket-Pickup locations will be announced soon. Seating times for the event are 8am, 8:45am and 9:30am. |
FLACC Printer Paper FOR SALE!

Now that the FL Chamber Office does all of our Newsletter distribution online, we are no longer in need of our 11" x 17" paper. We have two boxes in the office. $50 for one box, or $80 for both. First come, first served. Call the Chamber if you're interested.

Volunteer for Anonymous Santa!
Our local "Anonymous Santa" program is looking for volunteers to help distribute gifts December 17-18. Anonymous Santa is a Chisago County based non-profit tax-exempt corporation dedicated to providing "Christmas With Dignity" to children from families in crisis. Last December, 1,335 children from 526 families received gifts. Money raised and gifts collected in this area assist families from this area! There are many ways to get involved!

ChamberMaster Info Coming Soon! Look for an important e-mail in your inbox!
The FLACC has made the switch to ChamberMaster, a password protected, web-based software that is accessed through an active internet connection. ChamberMaster provides a special program in a password protected environment just for chamber members. Accessed through the internet, members can view and edit their company information which automatically updates the public member listing on the FLACC website, upload graphics to their consumer-viewable member information page, submit jobs, advertising and events for approval and also view statistical reports. The chamber will be sending out an email to each of our members with your log in and password information. Once you receive this email please contact the chamber with any questions or concerns. | |
