Several weeks ago the Connecticut Joint Education Committee held a hearing on anti-bullying bill SB1138. We asked you then to call the committee Chairs and ask them to add specific protections that would protect LGBT students. Thanks to you lawmakers listened! They amended the bill so that it would protect ALL students from bullying and harassment, including LGBT students.
