Flood Relief needs
this week
| Each week, we will use this section of our e-newsletter to let you know what opportunities are available this week in flood relief. You are needed in the Antioch community! Help us to show the practical love of Jesus to families in our community.
Needs this week, from Melissa Thomas:
-We need some people to do clean up around the flood relief office. We have so little money and no way to pay anyone to do this. Practically speaking, I don't know how we will keep this job done here. Maybe some life groups would love to do that? All of that is an indirect service to the community and a direct ministry to Jesus. (weed eating, mowing, etc)
-I have at least 3 places that need drywall hung right now. We are willing to teach how to do that.
-We have someone who needs their bathroom torn out before next week.
-A family of 8 (6 young kids) needs roof work done as water continues to leak down into the bedroom walls
-A very needy family next door to Sabrina Hayes needs studs and framing replaced in their front wall. You can see thru the wall to outside.
